AUTUMN ON THE FARM "Bring Your Own" PICNIC
RESERVATION DESCRIPTION
The hilltop is the perfect setting for a picnic with a picturesque view overlooking the conserved Thomas P. Bentley Preserve even after the lavender has finished its bloom. With a reservation, pack your own picnic and a blanket and join us in the fields at the top of the hill to enjoy the transportative scenery. Picnics are held throughout summer and fall after the lavender harvest. This reservation is for a picnic outside of our peak blooming season.

Make a day of it and visit the historic ruins of the Warwick Iron Furnace and public hiking trails throughout the preserved French & Pickering Thomas P. Bentley Preserve prior to your picnic.
Duration: 2 Hours
PRICE $10 a person. Free for children under 12 years of age.

All Guests will get a full lavender product educational experience and a 10% discount at our farm store during the event

Our Local Guide includes several recommendations where you can pick up supplies for your picnic.
We suggest;
[ ] Picnic and Accessories (Blanket etc)
[ ] Outdoor shoes with socks*
[ ] Your preferred method of protection from sun and bugs
[ ] and of course, a camera!
[ ] In the case of a light rain, rain boots and a poncho
*The field is at the top of a hill and requires some walking to access

We are very excited for the return of our Picturesque Picnic Contest. We have seen some BEAUTIFUL set-ups from our guests and want to reward the creativity and love that goes into curating a dreamy picnicscape.

Guests can indicate if they would like to participate in their reservation notes. Picnic entries will be photographed by us and presented each week, all the entries will be judged together at the end of the month and the winner will receive one of our Large Lavender Gift Boxes and a feature on instagram.

These events are held after the Lavender has been harvested.

Unfortunately, weather in our valley can be unpredictable. In the case of inclement weather we invite guests to enjoy their picnics in our large barn looking out onto the valley. In the case of severe weather on the property raising potential safety concerns, we may officially cancel the event. We monitor the weather closely and will reach out to provide weather-related cancellations the morning of the event. It is important to us that our visitors have the best possible experience at the farm. In the case of cancellation for severe weather, guests may apply their cancelled reservation fee as a credit toward another reservation (if available) or the purchase of our products at the farm store or online.

As we are limiting the number of guests who may visit the farm on any day, we regret that the reservation fee is non-refundable. Please check the date and time carefully when purchasing. You can modify your reservation date up to one week before your visit. If you must cancel kindly let us know in advance of the start of the event.
